We have done almost all of the games. Some are better than others but overall a great way to spend an hour. The difficulty level varies by each game. Some we have finished and some we ran out of time. They try to add new games semi-consistently. If you go within a week of your birthday you can get a free game. The staff is always friendly and helpful. You can get as many clues as you want.

It was a super enjoyable experience. We were 5 people (a 7 and 9 years old included). It was not easy by any means, but it was fun. The area is well kept and they update their games every so often to keep people interested. The service was really good, they know their games and are very helpful and dinamics. From the beginning to the end it was money well spent. We also went in the bathroom and I was pleasantly surprise how clean and neat it was.

My fiance and I have 3 rooms now at Countdown. They have been mixed experiences. In "Murder Mansion" we had 4 people. It was beautiful and very detailed to look and feel like a mansion. We did not finish tho. There were so many puzzles that we almost did not have time to do them all, but what made us not finish was the lack of communication from our game leader, who allowed us to move pieces from room to room when it caused us to use our remaining time to revisit solved puzzles. Overall a 3.5/5 stars simply due to the lack of communication. In "Time Machine" it was just us two. The room was again beautiful and exhibited the feeling of time traveling to different decades. Our game leader communicated well and made sure we did not move in the wrong direction. We felt that some of the puzzles were gimmicky, but over all a 5/5 star experience. In "Bank Heist" it was just the two of us, and it was a dreadful experience. The game leader did not explain the game well, stumbled through the explanation, and didn't seem like he knew about the room. The aesthetic of the rooms was focused on the expensive toys on the walls with very little to do with the rooms identify. "Thousands of dollars" in Legos doesn't add to the puzzle solving of a bank heist. Our game leader offered next to no help when we missed elements from earlier in the puzzle that we could not solve the rest of the room without. We struggled for 30 minutes before being told (after the game ended) that we missed a critical element earlier in the room. This room felt jumbled and confused as to what its purpose was, but it would have been better if the game leader would have been paying attention and led us when we got off on some tangents that were not relevant. Overall the puzzles were not clear and the game leader was not paying attention at all. My fiance is an ICU Nurse and I have my 4yr degree and we have never felt so dumb after an escape room. 1/5 stars, getting 1 star due to the cool Legos. Countdown Rooms, after 3 different rooms now, seem to focus on the technology, and valuing style over substance.

Went there with my hubby, neighbor, son, and sons girlfriend. It was a surprise for my birthday. What a blast. It's fun to see each person's personality come out. We beat it with 6 seconds left.

Best escape rooms I have ever played! My family had so much fun and the puzzles were so unique and fun to figure out! Carter was an amazing game master who gave us clues without giving away the outright solution. I totally recommend Countdown as your go to for escape room fun! We did Abduction and it was a blast! 10/10!

I am not normally one to write reviews, but I have been coming here for years and have played every room they have. We just played the newest room, The Scary One, and while we didn’t escape, I can confidently say it is hands down the best room I have done at any sort of place like this (all of the rooms here are phenomenal by the way), but this one specifically was just next level. I was completely mind blown!!! If you have never been here before then you are missing out! it is an absolute must for anyone who either lives in or visits Lexington. Once you do one room, you’ll wanna keep coming back to do the rest!

We have played several games here and they never disappoint. The staff is always friendly and the games are always fun. There are a lot to chose from with a lot of variety and your hints are not limited like they are in other places. They are always building new games and coming up with new things.

We are avid escape room players and this was an amazing experience! We did The Castle and we've never come across an escape room that is 3 stories tall before. The production and presentation were second to none. We are from Wisconsin but definitely plan to come back and do another room or two when we come back. We can't wait for that.

Probably the best place for escape rooms I have ever been to! Fun puzzles, very immersive, and more than one room in each game. Just did The Scary One today, and have done all the games they offer. The only bummer is that now I have to sadly wait for a new game to come out.

Countdown Games in Lexington, Ky is far superior to other games of its type in the area. My family and I have done both and the games here are so realistic, you feel as if you are in that scenario. Clean, safe environment and friendly, helpful staff. If you are trying to decide between this location and their competitor, hands down Countdown Games will not disappoint!
